Volunteer program for employees to share their skills with local communities.

Lend-A-Shoulder is IDFC FIRST Bank’s employee volunteer program that encourages employees to support local communities and causes they believe in. It provides direction to our colleagues who are passionate about community development and being a catalyst for social change. By sharing their knowledge and skills in the areas of Communication, Digital Literacy, Business, Information Technology, Marketing, Finance, etc., they can make a difference.

With active participation from over 7,600 volunteers, our Lend-A-Shoulder program has served more than 25,500 individuals.

Entrepreneurship & Livelihood

Supporting the dreams of under-resourced individuals.

At IDFC FIRST Bank, we have developed livelihood development programs to assist individuals from underprivileged backgrounds in developing skills and taking advantage of market opportunities. We have assisted more than 1 lakh people with our interventions.

Education

Financial Support for aspiring students.

Access to quality education is the bare minimum that every aspiring student must get. We provide the necessary financial aid to enable students to avail higher education programs. To date, we have been able to successfully support the education goals of more than 7,366 individuals.

Health & Sanitation

Building sanitized communities through relevant knowledge.

Sanitation and sustainability help build clean, healthy communities. We have partnered with Stree Mukti Sanghatana and the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai to create awareness about best practices in solid and waste management that will help reduce health risks. So far, we have included 9690 Households in segregating waste and adopting hygiene practices through this program.

COVID-19 Programme

Relief programs for the Economically Weaker section.

COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we look at life. It has affected every section of society, but mostly the economically weaker sections. We at IDFC FIRST Bank extended support to frontline doctors, nurses, police officers, the local municipal corporation workers and every helping hand. With your support, we have served 92,43,910 COVID-19 warriors.
