IDFC FIRST Bank Privilege Banking Programs Terms and conditions 1111:
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to and regulate the onboarding of a customer to
the three tiers of the Programs, namely FIRST Select / FIRST Wealth / FIRST Private Privilege
Banking Program (the “Program”) offered by IDFC FIRST Bank (the "Bank") to eligible
Savings/Current account holders (the “Account Holder(s)”). Additionally, these Terms and
Conditions also apply to and govern the operation of the three programs, consent obtained from
Account Holder(s) / customer(s) for grouping concerns with their eligible family / business
relations with the bank and for issuance of an upgraded debit card / cheque book. These terms
and conditions are in addition to the terms and conditions applicable to standard IDFC FIRST
Bank’s Savings/Current Account (the “Primary Terms”) as available on www.idfcfirstbank.com.
1. Program Eligibility
1.1. Onboarding to the Program is based on the Account Holder(s) satisfying the prevailing
Program eligibility criteria for the respective Program and consenting for the same post
acceptance of the
Terms by the Account Holder(s).
1.2. The Account Holder(s) reserves the right to decline onboarding on to the Program through
acceptable electronic or physical means at any point.
1.3. Any card, cheque book, statement, Mobile Banking, Net Banking, ATM display or other Bank
branded identification issued by the Bank to an Account Holder(s) to reflect the Program
(branding) is to facilitate identification of the Customer’s Program type only. The Bank’s
records shall be conclusive as to the Program allocated to the Customer at any time.
2. Grouping of Family / Business Relations
2.1. For the purpose of extending the Benefits of the said program, the same may be extended to such Account Holder(s)’s (‘Primary Relationship Holder ID’s) business and/or family relationship(s) after having formed a Family/Business ‘Group’ at the discretion of the Bank and based on consent (through approved electronic or physical means) received from both the Primary Relationship Holder ID and the prospective linked Account Holder(s) for all eligible family / business relations [except for Minors].
2.2 The Primary Relationship Holder ID for all practical purposes would be identified from the Bank as the highest vintage account with the bank for that particular group.
2.3. Each of the Account Holder(s) agree that the Primary Relationship Holder would be the first and primary point of contact for the Bank in relation to the Program/s.
2.4. Benefits are applicable only until the Account Holder(s) is / are a part of the Family / Business Group of the Program.
2.5. Each of the Account Holder(s) in the Group hereby agrees that the Bank may upgrade the Group to a higher program with better Benefits depending on the eligibility and Overall Relationship Value. Each of the Account Holder(s) hereby agrees, undertakes and acknowledges that the Primary Relationship Holder ID shall have the sole right and the discretion to upgrade status of the group to a higher Program/s without individual consent.
2.6. Each of the Account Holder(s) further agrees to inform/communicate to the Bank for the change of Primary Relationship Holder ID in the event of death /account closure of the primary ID. Additional requests for change in Primary Relationship Holder will be entertained on case to case basis.
2.7. Consent for on-boarding onto any of the Program & acceptance of the Terms also includes consent for future downgrade to suitable Program or to regular status based on the Bank’s sole discretion, with intimation to the customer.
2.8. Each of the Account Holder(s) hereby authorizes and provides consent in favor of the Primary Relationship Holder ID for addition/deletion of any new Account Holder(s)/or deletion of their names from the Program/s without their consent. Each of the Account Holder(s) hereby agrees that such decision of the Primary Relationship Holder ID would be final and binding on us and that the Bank shall not be liable for any claims against the Bank by any of the Account Holder(s).
2.9. In case, where registered email ID or mobile number is linked to multiple Customer IDs of the bank then the consent through such means will be deemed to be necessarily be provided by each of the Account Holder(s) / unique customer(s) for all the Customer IDs linked to those Email address or Mobile number.
2.10 IDFC FIRST Bank reserves the right to disqualify any account holder from the benefits of the program if any fraudulent activity is identified as being carried out for the purpose of availing the benefits under the program or otherwise by use of the Card. In case of any fraudulent activity, for the purpose of availing the benefits under the Program, necessary action will be taken by the Bank. Please note Bank’s has its own sole discretion in this regard which shall be final and binding.
2.11 Nothing contained herein shall constitute or be deemed to constitute an advice, invitation or solicitation to purchase any products/ services of any Merchant or any third party and is not intended to create any rights and obligations.
2.12 The offer by IDFC FIRST Bank is subject to applicable laws and regulatory guidelines/ regulations and as per bank's extant guidelines from time to time.
