Nomination details as provided above will be shared with the Insurer and replace the nomination details provided by you earlier, if any.
You nominate your nominee as per details furnished above to whom, in the event of your death under the circumstances as covered in the Terms & Conditions of the complimentary insurance policy on your IDFC FIRST Bank credit card, the insurance claim amount payable may be handed over
You acknowledge that the Insurance benefit provided on the Card will be available to you as per the terms of the relevant Insurance policy in force and only so long as you are and remain an active Cardmember of IDFC FIRST Bank with your account conduct being deemed satisfactory and in event of the Card and/or account facility being terminated for whatever reason, the benefit of such insurance cover shall automatically and ipso facto cease to be available from the date of cessation of membership
The complimentary insurance covers are available only to IDFC FIRST Bank cardmembers who have transacted on the card for a Purchase / ATM withdrawal transaction, at least once, within 30 days prior to the day of occurrence of the incidence, for which the insurance claim is being made. Inactive cards (Cards that have been inactive as aforesaid for 30 days or more) and Cards that are overdue for payment will not qualify for the complimentary insurance covers.
Air Accident cover and Travel Insurance cover are applicable only if the ticket has been booked using your IDFC FIRST Bank Credit Card.
Purchase Protection Cover is applicable only if the purchase has been made using your IDFC FIRST Bank Credit Card
IDFC FIRST Bank reserves the right to discontinue the insurance facility so offered at any time. In such an event Cardmembers shall be informed about the same through removal of insurance cover details from the bank website and/or sending communication to cardmembers. Any decision of IDFC FIRST Bank in this case shall be final
The insurance coverage is provided to Cardmembers by the Insurance Company, whose terms, conditions and decisions, for which IDFC FIRST Bank is not liable, will apply.
Claims must be intimated to the Insurance Company or Bank empanelled broker for the policy within 30 days of the occurrence of the incidence. Please check the Insurance benefit document available in the credit card section of the Bank website to get the details of the Insurance Company and Bank empanelled broker for the policy. The Insurance benefit document also provides you the details about the Insurance features and Terms & conditions of Insurance covers available on your IDFC FIRST Bank Credit Card.
IDFC FIRST Bank does not hold any warranty and/or make representation about quality, delivery of the cover, claims processing or settlement of the claim by the Insurance Company, in any manner whatsoever. You may be asked to submit additional documents, as per the requirements of the case by the Bank, Bank empanelled broker or Insurance company.
IDFC FIRST Bank will not be liable for any delay in settlement of the claims.
If the Nominee is a minor, then details of a Guardian need to be provided
Nominee’s KYC documents and other applicable documents needs to be provided at the time of claim. The list of documents to be submitted for claims is available in the Insurance benefit document available in the credit card section of the Bank website. Please note document checklist given on the Bank website is tentative in nature, Insurer may choose at its discretion to request more documents for settlement and investigation purposes
Further queries or assistance regarding the policy, exclusions and claim settlements can be sent to the Bank empanelled broker. Its details are mentioned in the Insurance benefit document available in the credit card section of the Bank website
