How to buy your FASTag

Here are the quick simple steps to purchase a FIRSTforward FASTag online:

Upon successful payment, your FASTag sticker will be dispatched to your mailing address. You will also receive a customer ID and wallet ID via your registered email and mobile number. FASTAGs are shipped pre-activated. Upon receipt, please affix it to your vehicle's windshield.

Check Balance and Recharge

IDFC FIRST Bank FASTag is a simple, reloadable tag, affixed to your car’s windscreen, enabling you to automatically pay for tolls, parking, and more. It uses Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, which lets you pay for fuel and zip through fuel stations. You can buy a FASTag online after completing your registration and even get a FASTag recharge online at your convenience.

There are four ways to recharge your IDFC FIRST Bank FASTag:

Option 1

Option 2

Login to your FASTag account on the FIRSTforward app and recharge through credit card, debit card, or net banking.

How FASTag Works

A FASTag is an attachable tag that can be easily affixed to your vehicle’s windscreen. It facilitates automatic payments at toll stations. The tag uses RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology to recognise your vehicle at toll plazas and pay toll tax automatically. FASTag readers are attached at the toll booth which scan your FASTag while the vehicle is in motion.

To use a FASTag, simply recharge your FASTag online, move through the toll lane, and the money will automatically get debited from your account.

  • The fee will be deducted as per the toll fare

Parking

NETC | FASTag

National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) is an initiative by the Indian Highway Management Company Ltd., managed by the National Payments Corporation of India. The aim of this programme is to simplify the process of toll payment collection by making it automated. This will make commutation across toll points hassle-free and less chaotic in terms of traffic.

NETC programme, through the FASTag device, employs the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology which enables direct payment of toll charges from the prepaid account linked to it. This is also counted as a Prepaid Payment Instrument as per the RBI guidelines.

With NETC FASTag, you get the benefit of cashless payments along with the comfort of saving time and fuel.
