How it Works!

Choose any amount above ₹2 Lakhs as threshold for auto-sweep to a FD

FD will break only when Current Account balance goes below ₹2 Lakhs

Earn interest of up to 6.30% p.a.* on a FD tenure of 370 days

FD breakage will not attract any penalty on withdrawal

Balance above the set threshold move into a FD on daily basis in multiples of ₹1000

FD breakage will be in units of ₹1 to give you maximum benefit

What is BRAVO?

BRAVO is a unique feature offered by IDFC FIRST Bank that allows you to manage your funds efficiently. It combines the flexibility of a Current Account with the benefits of a Fixed Deposit (FD). This a feature that allows you to automatically convert your current account balance above the set threshold amount move into a 370 days Fixed Deposit on a daily basis in multiple of Rs. 1000 thereby earning you an interest of 6.30% p.a *

Who can opt for BRAVO feature?

BRAVO feature is available with Platinum Current Account, WBA Platinum Current Account, Startup Current Account and Dynamic TASC Current Account only. Existing customers can avail this facility by converting their account to Platinum Current Account if existing account is not a part of the above-mentioned variants.

How can I setup BRAVO feature in my current account?

For new customers, BRAVO setup can be done at the time of account opening. For existing customers, it can be done post account opening by raising a request at branch or customer can setup this feature online through net-banking.

What will be the tenure for which the FD (Fixed Deposit) will be booked?

The Fixed Deposit will be booked for a tenure of 370 days. Post maturity, FD will be auto renewed for the tenure of 370 days.

When will FD (Fixed Deposit) get created?

FD will be created when the balance in the Current Account exceeds the set threshold limit. FD will be created at the beginning of the day (BOD) for maximum amount of up to ₹3 Crore*.

*In case FD requirement is more than ₹3 Crore, please visit your nearest IDFC First Bank Branch

When will FD (Fixed Deposit) break?

FD will only break when the balance in Current Account falls below ₹2 Lakhs. This will ensure maximum possible returns to our customer. In case of multiple FDs, the last FD will be broken first.

If the FD is broken before 370 days, what interest rate would be applicable?

In case of pre-closure of FD, applicable bucket rate as per tenure and as on date of FD booking will apply. No premature penalty will be charged.

How can I access my account statement along with BRAVO details?

Consolidated (CA & FD) statement is shared on your registered email ID every month. The statement can also be downloaded through net-banking or you can visit the branch to avail the same.
